I can’t believe that Vintage took a fat book like Demons and stuck it with endnotes (in the tiniest print imaginable, simultaneously pretending to be footnotes, perhaps?). Thank you for 700+ pages of flipping back and forth.

Do you think we could make this a criminal offence? At least a felony. I stared at the first page for about five minutes before I decided to turn the page and tolerate the stupid things. :/

Definitely they should get at least 6 months hard labour writing book jacket copy.

Ha! That’s a good one. Someone should send that idea to a publishers and let them do the self-policing.
